Academics
Our chapter is proud to stress the importance of academics in each of our brothers' lives. We have a school first attitude that we enforce through mandatory study table hours, where our brothers spend a predetermined amount of time in the library to maximize use of study time. We also provide group studying events in our house for those who wish to partake in additional scholarly activities. We have recently established a reward system for brothers who achieve good marks. That system will place brothers into a lottery for cash prizes, as well as granting those brothers with priority for procedures such as room picks. Overall, our chapter recognizes that academics are the premier purpose for our brothers' attendance at the University of Washington, and we strive to cultivate their educations while we mold them into contributing members of society.

After two quarters of this new system we have seen our grades continue to go up. After the last grade reports we see we moved up yet again. Next year our grades should reach well beyond the All-Men's Average, and set a precedent for other houses to follow.

What it means to be a ATΩ
As a current member of Alpha Tau Omega, this fraternity holds such a strong significance in my life because the benefits both academically and socially have allowed me to develop and mature into the person I am today. The experiences that I have shared with my fellow brothers and the relaxed atmosphere has not only created a very comfortable, more notably less intense, Greek house that is enjoyable on a daily basis. I am proud to be a member of this fraternity and the experiences we have to offer not only separate us from the rest of the Greek system, but elevates us above the rest.
